Roster Selection

Player selection begins after tryouts.  Players from around Minnesota and the Midwest are invited.

We will select 11-13 positional players.  When making rosters, we will take the top players at each age group. 

We expect you to be a part of every tournament, however, we understand there may be tournaments you may not be able to attend for a variety of reasons.  If this is the case, players will NOT be charged for those specific tournaments they are not able to attend but ARE REQUIRED to notify us BEFORE tryouts begin.

What's Included with Blizzard 507 Summer Fee:

507 Facility Access

• Each player receives a Player Membership through August 1st enabling them access to Blizzard Baseball Academy to hit, throw, workout or even do their homework. Open Hitting times will be subject to availability.

Blizzard 507 Coaches

Each one of our coaches are superb teachers, leaders, mentors and have an extensive background in baseball.  They each go through an extensive interview process and typically will coach in our Fall Program for one year before traveling.  Ultimately, each coach will teach his team with a sense of pride, passion and always have the players’ best interests in mind when practicing, playing and competing in tournaments.  

Blizzard 507 Uniforms, Apparel and Equipment

Uniform provided includes (only if needed in summer):      

• Blizzard jersey (if needed)
• Blizzard hat
• Players are responsible for white pants and belt
• Equipment (will be provided if needed)

Blizzard 507 Practices

Our coaches will run a prepared, efficient and a results-based practice that will include: hitting, fielding and throwing instruction plus live pitching and at-bats to get prepared for tournaments.

We will practice twice per week during non-tournament weeks and once per week during tournament weeks.

Players of all ages are encouraged to come to other practices if they cannot make their own or if they would like to get additional reps in.

Blizzard 507 Game and Practice Fields  

All practice and game fields are covered by your Blizzard fee. We practice at our home field, Gustavus Adolphus College, which is an all-turf field

Tournament fees paid (includes insurance for games and practices)

Player hotels are not a part of the fee

Coaches fees (plane ticket, gas money, hotel, meal, practice, etc.)
